Corporate Giving

Gwenfro Valley is completely reliant on charitable grants and donations to continue running. Detailed below are our running costs with examples of stand-alone options that could be considered for one off or annual donations / sponsorship. These are indicative examples and any contributions towards staffing or running the playground would be gratefully received.

Our ultimate dream scenario (allowing the playground to be open 6 days a week – running for 2 hours a day Mon-Fri and 4 hours a day Sat-Sun with 3 playworkers + volunteers) = £129,516.80 per year

Annual cost for playground to be open for one session a week for a year = £22,009.39 (£423.26 x 52)
Finance hours (staff hours for finance administration, accounting per year, etc) = £7862.40
Annual Playground Insurance = £2600
Financial audit = £1150
Contribution towards core running costs = £500
Approximate cost for one session (2 hours with 3 playworkers + volunteers) = £423.26
Annual play materials/equipment, e.g. paint, balls, chalk, etc = £260

- Letter headings
- Website
- Staff uniforms
- Playground signage

Press release could be issued with accompanying photo opportunities.
Team building and volunteering sessions for your staff – fun sessions led by playworkers on the adventure playground.
Trustees available for corporate events speaking to showcase the benefits of the donations / sponsorship (Trustees are experienced public speakers)
